Top Countries in Europe
Health economics hiring in Europe during August was concentrated in a few key markets. Storbritannien led with 41 postings, followed by Tyskland with 18. Schweiz had 14 roles, Spanien posted 10, and Polen accounted for 7. The remaining European countries combined for 41 postings across the continent.
Companies Recruiting Health Economists
104 companies posted health economics roles in August. Pharma companies dominated hiring with the highest volume, followed by Konsultföretag firms and Biotech organisations. The three companies posting most frequently were Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, and Regeneron, each actively recruiting throughout the month.
Role Seniority
Most positions in August pitched themselves at the Chef level, accounting for 81% of total postings. Direktör roles made up 44% of opportunities, whilst Konsult positions represented 12%. Entry-level Analytiker and Internship roles were less common at 4% and 4% respectively.
Specialisms in Demand
Market Access skills were required in 75% of August postings, the highest proportion. Value & Access appeared in 64% of roles. Modellering capability was sought in 62% of positions. HEOR experience featured in 45% of postings, whilst Global hälsa was mentioned in 41%. Gezondheidsbeleid knowledge was needed for 35% of roles, Verklighetsbaserade evidens for 35%, and HTA expertise for 34%.
Education Requirements
Among positions specifying educational qualifications, Master’s degrees were preferred in 65% of cases, whilst PhD qualification requirements appeared in 35%.
