Top Countries in Europe
Germany led the European market with 35 postings, followed by the United Kingdom at 30 and Switzerland at 28. Spain and Ireland each recorded 14 positions. The remaining 83 jobs were distributed across other European countries.
Companies Recruiting Health Economists
109 companies posted roles during the month. The recruitment came predominantly from pharma companies, with consulting and biotech firms making up the second and third largest employer types. Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, and Regeneron were the three most active recruiters.
Role Seniority
Manager level positions accounted for 76% of total jobs. Director roles made up 44%, while Consultant positions represented 13%. Analyst roles were 4% of the market and Internship opportunities were 7%.
Specialisms in Demand
Market Access dominated the month at 75% of total jobs. Modelling appeared in 63% of postings, and Value & Access in 63%. HEOR was required for 50% of roles. Real World Evidence featured in 43%, HTA in 42%, Value Dossiers in 40%, and Global Health in 35%.
Education Requirements
Among roles that specified education level, Master’s qualifications were mentioned in 64% of cases, whilst PhD qualifications featured in 36%.
