Within Europe, the Reino Unido remained the largest market with 56 jobs, ahead of Alemania at 35 and España at 33. Bélgica y Suiza each posted 23 roles. Other European countries combined for 129 positions.

104 companies recruited health economists in September. Farmacéutica dominated recruitment, followed by consulting empresas y biotech companies. The top three recruiters by volume were AstraZeneca, Roche, and Lilly.

Gerente level roles made up 45% of positions, with director roles at 40%. Consultor positions accounted for 7%, analyst roles for 3%, and internship opportunities for 5%.

Acceso al Mercado appeared in 76% of roles, making it the most sought specialism. Value & Access featured in 66% of positions, and modelling in 65%. HEOR was required in 50% of roles, Evidencia del Mundo Real in 43%, Global Health in 42%, and HTA y Dossiers de valor each in 42%.

Among jobs specifying education level, 59% required a Máster degree and 41% required a PhD.
