EuropeanHealthEconomics.com es el portal de empleo especializado en economistas de la salud, creado por economistas de la salud.

Our Story

EuropeanHealthEconomics.com was founded in 2015 by Dr. Jari Kempers, a health economist with a PhD and two decades of consulting experience. The platform came from a problem he knew well: finding health economics roles meant searching across dozens of generic job boards and employer career pages. Time-consuming, incomplete and inefficient.

The second problem was equally familiar. Freelance health economists struggled to find a steady flow of work. Managers looking to hire experienced freelancers for projects and interim roles had no reliable way to find them. The market had no efficient way to connect either side.

EuropeanHealthEconomics.com was created to solve both. Today the platform attracts 37,000 visitors searching for health economics jobs per year and maintains an active pool of 100+ freelance health economists.

What We Cover

The platform covers Europe: the Reino Unido, Alemania, Francia, España, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, the Nordics and beyond. Health economics is a global profession, so there are also a large number of roles in América del Norte y Asia.

Employers include pharmaceutical companies, life science consultancies, MedTech y medical device firms, universities y international organisations.

Roles span the core technical areas: HEOR, HTA, market access, health economic modelling, reimbursement, pricing, real-world evidence, value and access, cost-effectiveness, budget impact and value dossier development. Seniority ranges from entry-level through to director.

Membresía Pro

Free users see 30% of available roles, delayed by 7 days. Pro Members see every role immediately. Many listed positions never appear on the free board, and many do not appear on general job boards or LinkedIn either.

Membresía Pro is for mid and senior level professionals who want full access to all health economics roles in one place, without the delay.

Freelance Health Economists for Projects and Interim Roles

EuropeanHealthEconomics.com connects health economics managers with experienced freelance health economists for projects y interim roles, including recruitment gaps and maternity leave cover. Typical assignments cover country model localisations, dossier y HTA submission support, cost-effectiveness modelling and budget impact analysis.

The process is simple: tell us about the project, and we find two to three experienced freelancers matched on disease area, country expertise and availability. You interview them and hire the one you want. The whole process typically takes about a week. Candidate selection is handled directly by Dr. Jari Kempers.

The Platform in Numbers

About 3,500 health economics roles are listed on the platform each year globally. Rated 4.6 stars by health economists, and consistently described as the most focused resource for finding opportunities in the field.
