The position
As MAPA Head, you will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing affiliate-wide market access and public affairs strategies.
Your main accountabilities will be:
- Manage the right structure, capacity, and tools for patient access
- Lead and develop the right organizational capabilities within the affiliate
- Formulate affiliate pricing, public affairs, and government affairs strategies
- Develop evidence and relevant arguments to optimize patient access and shape the local healthcare environment
- Serve as an ambassador for the company, strengthening and influencing local external policy and regulations to support patient access
Qualifications
As a MAPA Head, you need to have strong knowledge in leading a senior commercial, business, or medical position with broad leadership experience. Moreover, you need to have the ability to lead a cross-functional team.
To be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree preferred in the pharmaceutical industry-academic area
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in patient access, pricing, and reimbursement, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and public and government affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Senior or executive management experience in the pharma industry
