Health Economics and Value Proposition Manager

Gurgaon, India.

The role exists to execute strategies for the Company’s HTA- HEOR solutions to accelerate access in country’s public & private healthcare ecosystem to advance standards of care and access to healthcare in rare and underserved disease conditions. The incumbent is to drive HEOR and value propositions based strategic solution in alignment with Regional and Global guidelines with necessary localization in accordance with the legal and compliance framework. Responsible for all HTA -HEOR initiatives for the LOC with support from region. Works in close coordination with franchise, finance, tendering, regional/global HEOR teams. HTA-HEOR Manager is an individual contributor role reporting to Pricing and Value Proposition Lead for India.

Accountabilities

  • Create Value Proposition solutions.
    • Conduct health economic assessments, cost-effectiveness analyses, and real-world evidence studies.
    • Evaluate the economic impact of our products and interventions.
    • Generate evidence and value messages to support pricing and reimbursement decisions.
    • Drives the execution of Health Economics and Outcomes Research through creation of new white papers/journal publications through third-party engagement or localization of existing Takeda studies.
  • Develop Health Technology Assessments
    • Leads submission and inclusions in PMJAY – other related schemes based on Health Technology – HEOR.
    • Supports creation of product Value Dossiers for key products
  • Support Innovative Access
    • Co-creates Market and Innovative Access solutions to increase access for Takeda therapies among Indian patients. These solutions include PAPs, Financial Contracts, Portfolio Contracts and Value-based Contracts.

Education, Experience, Behavioural Competencies and Skills

  • Must be Graduate preferably in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, or a related field, with an overall pharma experience of atleast 5-7 years plus including the domain of HEOR – HTA.
  • Must be strong in Analytical, Presentation and Communication skills besides being best in cross-functional collaboration with a good command of numeracy and spreadsheet models.
  • Flexible for field work
  • Previous experience in Oncology/vaccine/GI preferred.
