The HEOR Manager is responsible for the development and execution of high-quality health economic strategic efforts to support optimal reimbursement and market access for Novartis innovative portfolio across the Nordic countries. This involves leveraging HEOR expertise to develop and implement access strategies and project plans with a focus on delivering robust evidence, thereby demonstrating the health economic value of our medicines. The HEOR Manager should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with internal stakeholders both cross-functionally and cross-country, as well as skills to manage external stakeholders (payers, clinicians, decision makers etc.) to secure access for current and future portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead the efficient and timely development of local HEOR deliverables in alignment with country Value & Access needs, to support successful patient access for the Nordic markets.
• Strategic forward planning to generate robust payer evidence (treatment patterns, real-world efficiency, burden of illness, costing, epidemiology studies, etc.) to support access for our medicines, in close collaboration with Nordic RWE, Medical and Value & Access teams cross-Nordics.
• Coordinate and drive development of HTA-dossiers; from feasibility, data generation, adaptation of health economic models and dossier writing, to post-submission dialogue with HTA-bodies.
• Represent the Value & Access function in cross-functional Nordic pre-launch squads to tailor access strategy, key value story and launch plans across the Nordic countries.
• Maintain expertise and follow trends in HTA/HEOR methodology, in order to guide the Nordic country teams towards access.
Role Requirements
Essential requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Health Economics or related discipline
• Min 3 years of work experience within HTA submissions in a HEOR/HTA/Access role or with HTA-assessments from the payer perspective
• In-depth HEOR technical expertise and experience of health economics modelling
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Self-drive and excellent collaboration skills
• Proven ability to successfully work within a matrix organization
• Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages
