Terms and Conditions for Job Advertisements

Introduction

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale and provision of job advertisement services on EuropeanHealthEconomics.com, a website operated by European Health Economics Ltd, registered in Finland under company number 3226663-9 (“us”, “we”, “our”). By purchasing a job ad package, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

To be eligible to purchase a job ad package, you must:
a) Be at least 18 years of age;
b) Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
c) Ensure that all information provided during your order process is accurate and complete.
d) Be authorized to represent the company for which the job advertisement is being placed.

Acceptance

a) The job advertisement must be for a health economics related role. We reserve the right to reject job advertisements and companies that we consider unsuitable.
b) We may edit and format the job ads according to the website style.
c) External links within job ads must either direct applicants to the specific job being advertised or, if not feasible, to the client’s general career page.

Job ads and pricing

You must select and pay for one of the job ad packages outlined on our sales page. All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the applicable rate during checkout. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already placed and paid for.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of order, using the payment methods available on our website. Your job advertisement will not posted until we have received your payment in full.

Advertisement period

a) Paid job advertisements will be removed after 30 days.
b) Re-advertisement for the same job or different variations of it is allowed for paid job ads. However, there must be at least 30 days between the posting dates.
c) A job ad can be removed earlier upon the client’s request via email. No refund is payable in such cases.

Advertisement position

a) Paid job ads will be shown in the top section of the job board for the first seven days.
b) Paid job ads will be displayed in descending order (newest first).
c) Paid job ads will be lifted to the top section after two weeks. These job ads will be displayed below newer paid job ads.
d) We reserve the right to change the order of job ads.

Prepaid job ads

a) Prepaid job ads are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After this period, the ads will expire and cannot be posted.
b) No refunds will be made for unused prepaid job ads.

Automatic job posting service

a) The duration of the automatic job posting service is one year, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
b) The automatic job posting service has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the client is unsatisfied with the service within the guarantee period, the full fee will be refunded.
c) At the end of each subscription period, the service plan will be renewed automatically.
d) The automatic job posting service can be cancelled anytime with an email. The service will continue until the paid service period ends. No refunds will be made.
e) If the automatic job posting from the client’s website is or becomes technically impossible, the service order will be cancelled, and the payment refunded proportionally to the remaining subscription period.

Warranties and liability

a) We provide no warranty concerning how many times a job ad is viewed, how many applications there are, or who the applicants are.
b) While we strive for continuous service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of our website, especially in instances beyond our control. We will not be held liable for any financial losses, missed business opportunities, or potential damage to reputation due to such interruptions.
c) In any circumstance, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific job ad or job posting service in question.
d) We shall use all reasonable endeavours to implement the advertisement promptly following receipt of the job advertisement and the payment, but give no warranty in relation to the turnaround time.

Governing law

These Terms and any job advertisement agreement entered into under these Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and any job advertisement agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website and services after any such changes have been posted shall be deemed as your acceptance of the updated Terms.
