Health Economics Senior Technician

The Health Economics & Outcomes Research team is looking for this key role, you will contribute to preparing product access strategy providing high-quality health economic evidence to obtain national and regional access adequate to product objectives. You will work hands-on with Pricing Senior technician and Pricing & HEOR Manager for achieving the best P&R of the products in Spain. You will design the national and regional access plans and for the development of valuable tools and materials for the implementation of the access plans. You develop high-quality P&R negotiations tools aligned with strategy (value dossier and economic models) and support the overall negotiations process preparing quality and fast answers of HA questions. You will design and execute the evidence generation plans to support the value of the products. You will generate health economic evidence (papers, congress communications, RWE data) for mature products. You will prepare presentations/documents with the arguments of economic value to be presented to the key stakeholders and decision-makers. You will design and develop training to the Market Access/ BU teams on Health Economics and how to best communicate health economic studies and results. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, at local a Regional/Global, level including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory & Compliance to support the commercial strategies and data generation plans.

Who you are:

  • You have a University Degree or Masters level in health outcomes or relevant areas of specialization.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a health economist, market access or related function (consulting, pharmaceutical industry, academics) in the Spanish healthcare environment.
  • You have a notable knowledge in reimbursement, market access processes, pharmacoeconomic models, HTA requirements, health policy, reimbursement/access, health economics, modelling, patient-reported outcomes, psychometrics, clinical trial design, observational research, epidemiology, statistics.
  • Fluent level of English
  • You are based in Madrid
