Our Real World Evidence team is hiring a Research Scientist to join our team of research professionals conducting real-world studies in the pharmacy and biotech space; operating as a thought leader, problem solver and data expert.
This is a fully remote position.
About You:
- You are an experienced health economics and outcomes research consultant with an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs and can anticipate client needs.
- You have expertise in the conduct of real-world studies, including data feasibility assessments, developing study protocols, analytic dataset creation, data analyses, and study reports.
- You can perform analyses independently and are comfortable making recommendations to the client and team members on study direction.
- You can anticipate and identify considerations relevant to the implementation of various approaches, including potential facilitators of and barriers to successful project and task execution.
- You are comfortable presenting to and interacting with clients across functions.
About The Role:
As a Research Scientist on the RWE team at Precision AQ, you will contribute to multiple projects comprised of cross-functional staff, serving as the analytics expert on the project. You will design RWE studies, develop protocols and analysis plans, perform analyses of primary and secondary data, and communicate study results internally and externally.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in RWE
- Master’s degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health
- Proficiency in SAS or R
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team
- Awareness and understanding of financial performance on projects
Helpful Experience:
- PhD in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health
- Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
