This is a newly created position in one of my favourite consulting companies who I have worked with for almost 10 years. Due to continuous, stable growth during recent years, the company is looking to recruit an experienced Systematic Review / Evidence Synthesis candidate into their Health Outcomes team. The Senior Health Outcomes Researcher will take on a variety of activities including:
- Conducting systematic reviews
- Designing and executing studies
- Undertaking study analyses including meta-analysis (and NMA)
- Collaborating with the internal Health Economics team to design new projects, develop protocols and run search strategies to identify necessary evidence for health economic models.
- Development of slide decks, study reports, manuscripts, posters and other relevant publications
As this is a Senior position, the successful candidate will also be responsible for some project management and, depending on experience, could take on some mentoring / people leadership tasks too.
Applicants must have proven experience (either within the Consultancy sector, Academia or a pharma company position), undertaking Outcomes Research and Evidence Synthesis projects. An MSc in a relevant scientific / numeric subject is highly preferable but most important is a detailed understanding of the concepts associated with systematic review, evidence synthesis and critical appraisal, with excellent technical expertise in methodologies combined with a genuine interest in health technology assessment and health economics.
Experience within ITC, NMA and survival analysis would also be beneficial but is not necessarily essential.
