We are looking for a Health Economics Evidence Lead who is strategic, adaptable and collaborative to join our team, based in our offices in Brussels, Belgium or Slough, UK.
About the role:
You will be responsible for developing HTA and payer evidence strategies and their operational execution for asset indication(s) from mid to late-stage clinical development to the commercial launch phase. You will define appropriate HTA and payer evidence strategies to demonstrate the full value potential of specific in-development and launched assets. You’ll also hold responsibility for the design, development and implementation of global health economics strategies and projects to generate compelling evidence that leads to the demonstration of the clinical, humanistic, and economic value of assets.
Who you’ll work with
You will report to the Head of HE & HTA evidence and will closely partner with the Global Payer Strategy Asset Lead, the Global and Regional APEX hubs and cross-functional teams and key local teams to develop, implement, and deliver Global APEX strategy and tools including the Health Economic strategy and deliverables.
This is a Global position, and you will also partner with the other members of the global team and various other internal stakeholders in affiliates or global functions, including but not limited to clinical development, medical affairs, global statistics (SSI), publication managers and commercial.
What you’ll do
- Leads the development of Health Economic strategic plans and deliverables.
- Drive the conceptualization, development and delivery of relevant health economic tools for UCB in-development and in-market assets.
- Partner with colleagues in the Early Strategy teams to ensure the integration of HE-related endpoints.
- Collaborate with external experts, clinical development teams, commercial teams and colleagues to define the analyses to be conducted.
- Support the generation/update of diversified, customer-friendly core economic models to support market access for individual products.
- Pro-actively contributes to the development of new methodologies in health economics that could be applicable to UCB projects.
- Contribute to competitive intelligence activities to identify emerging Health Economics data and techniques.
- Develop and collaborates with key opinion leaders and academics in health economics.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Advanced degree in a healthcare, business, or economic discipline (e.g., MSc, MD, PhD, PharmD)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare environment, preferably pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services
- At least 3 years of experience in an affiliate or regional or global oversight role in the development of access strategy and/or payer evidence
- Product launch experience
