Market Access Specialist

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Market Access Specialist located in Lagoas Park, Lisbon, Portugal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute, design, develop and implement a coordinated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity.
  • Elaborate the local access strategy plan and implement. Prepare all the documents vital for the local submission for reimbursement and funding. Monitor and follow up the evaluation of the process within Health Authorities, anticipate requests and prepare answers upfront.
  • Communicate the outstanding attributes of the therapeutic area medicinal products to multiple external stakeholders to guarantee the products value proposition is recognized and improve market uptake.
  • Work collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties.
  • Develop strategic studies with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results will favorably impact pricing, reimbursement and market access as well as market uptake.
  • Participate/Conduct quantitative, qualitative pricing research. Develop strategic projects with the access mindset, like Burden of disease studies and others, to ensure that the results will favorably impact pricing/reimbursement/market access.
  • Actively work on the publications’ potential on scientific magazines and/or congresses.
  • Work very closely with the Core Value Team and Account Management on the product value.
  • Develop solutions to sophisticated problems which require the regular use of resourcefulness, innovation and out of the box solution. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, Preferred Masters
  • Experience in Health Economics/Market Access is preferred
  • Experience with HTA Authorities is preferred
  • Market knowledge
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams & navigate complex settings that involve multiple partners
  • Ability to lead and/or run projects with external partners
  • Valid driver’s license
