As the Market Access Manager you will ensure the market access of multiple new and existing products through the achievement of the best Pricing & Reimbursement conditions. You will manage the national access life cycle of existing products and you will ensure national access. The therapeutic areas of interest are Oncology, including Breast, Lung, Gastric, Ovarian, Hematology, and Cardiovascular area including, Atrial Fibrillation and Dyslipidemia. This position reports to the Head Market Access & Government Affairs NL.
Core activities include but are not limited to:
- Support the creation of the national market access strategy for multiple products and execute on the strategic plan.
- Develop market access scenarios for new products, taking into account assumptions, uncertainties and developments in the changing market access environment.
- Develop customized product value propositions and messages in line with global product value story.
- Prepare the reimbursement dossier for multiple Daiichi Sankyo products.
- Prepare business cases for the negotiation process with Ministry of Health or insurers.
- Support the organization with relevant scientific and market access content.
- Assess the pipeline on ongoing basis and provide input to the Brand Leadership Teams and to the Horizonscan.
- Monitor implementation of national market access strategy and national and regional plans and achievement of set objectives.
Core activities include but are not limited to:
- Develop pricing strategies in accordance with HQ PMA guidelines and set optimal list and net prices to ensure that planned reimbursement and market access can be achieved.
- Proactively support the development of global pricing strategies by providing input to HQ PMA.
- Prepare the pricing strategy and possible pricing negotiation process, through extensive scenario planning, stakeholder management and medical scientific and health economic rationalization.
- Develop and drive projects on cost-effectiveness and cost-savings.
- Lead the local process and requirements on International Reference Pricing (WGP).
- Actively monitor and track WGP pricing dynamics and its effects on NL reimbursed products.
Core activities include but are not limited to:
- Provide input to HQ PMA Managers to ensure local market-specific requirements are accounted for in HQ PMA strategy.
- Effectively engage with Market Access HQ functions to provide insights to strategic plans, global value stories and value messages and ensure alignment with HQ PMA plan.
- Assist HQ PMA on projects and supports the creation of international strategies to maximize market access outcomes.
Core activities include but are not limited to:
- Identify, analyze, and act on legislative initiatives and emerging issues that could impact Daiichi Sankyo.
- Perform media screening, assess the information and proactively update the organization on relevant topics.
- Prepare key speaking documents, stakeholder analysis and engagement support for Head MA & GA NL external engagements.
- Represent Daiichi Sankyo at VIG and other stakeholder meetings.
- University degree in ( health ) Economics, Health Sciences, Pharmacy or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of professional Experience in market acces or health economics in the pharmaceutical industry or related organisation with a comprehensive understanding of the Dutch pricing and reimburstment environment and the government/payer review process
- Dutch mother tongue and fluent in English, both oral and written communications
- Experience in one or more of the following positions: sales, marketing or medical
- Ability to review and analyse business and medical data
