UNICEF is seeking a Knowledge Management and Advocacy Consultant to support the Health Financing team in Nairobi, Kenya. This role involves providing technical assistance in knowledge management and advocacy efforts related to health financing initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance knowledge sharing, capacity building, and advocacy efforts within the organization and with external partners.
The consultant will be expected to:
- Develop and implement knowledge management strategies to enhance the sharing of best practices and lessons learned in health financing.
- Support the development of advocacy materials and tools to promote health financing initiatives.
- Facilitate capacity building workshops and training sessions for UNICEF staff and partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and enhance advocacy efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management and advocacy initiatives.
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Advanced degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in knowledge management, advocacy, or health financing.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
This consultancy is for a duration of 238 days and is remote.
