WJCF seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with outstanding credentials and demonstrated analytical and stakeholder management abilities for the role of Analyst, T1D (Uttarakhand). The Analyst will actively engage and support program implementation work, by developing a comprehensive understanding of the public health system and barriers in access to care for T1D. The Analyst will support program implementation at the state level to strengthen data-driven decision-making, generate insights, support implementation, and contribute to the development of high-quality program materials and analyses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation and continuity of processes and systems for collection, management, and review of programmatic data to monitor progress and inform strategy
- Analyse program data to identify bottlenecks, service delivery gaps, and opportunities in the T1D continuum of care, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for the team
- Conduct primary and secondary research, including literature reviews, policy analyses, and stakeholder interviews, to build an evidence base that informs program design and decision-making
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights into reports, presentations, and communication materials for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the State Engagement Lead in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the roll-out of programmatic activities, including tracking progress against defined milestones
- Collaborate with the State Engagement Lead to identify potential risks and challenges to activity implementation and support the design and execution of suitable mitigation mechanisms
- Visit program geographies, in consultation with the State Lead, to undertake data validation, supportive supervision, and review program operations
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with relevant government stakeholders, agencies, and ecosystem peers
- Undertake additional responsibilities in consultation with the program leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Candidates with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (public health/administration, economics, social work, sociology, management, population studies, business, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google suite
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritise under constraints, self-motivate, and propose new initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Hindi
- Willingness to travel extensively across the state for programmatic purposes
Preferred:
- Functional knowledge of advanced analytical/quantitative tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, STATA, SPSS, SQL analytics, Power Query, and AI/ML methods will be a plus
- Experience of working with government stakeholders and familiarity with the Indian public health system will be a plus
