Leveraging IQVIA’s core assets—medical big data, Real World Data (RWD), advanced analytics, and cutting-edge technologies—this department promotes evidence generation through health economic evaluations, Health Technology Assessments (HTA), Market Access strategies, patient outcomes research, and Real World Evidence (RWE) studies.

This role seeks a Senior Consultant or Manager to lead consulting and research projects specifically related to Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA), Budget Impact Analysis (BIA), HTA, and Market Access strategies. You will support pharmaceutical and medical device companies in appropriately evaluating and demonstrating the value of their drugs and medical technologies, generating evidence to inform decision-making across pricing, reimbursement, and market access.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects related to Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA), Budget Impact Analysis (BIA), and HTA.

• Formulate value assessment strategies and lead evidence generation projects utilizing RWD and RWE.

• Deliver end-to-end project management, including proposal creation, study design, execution oversight, and client deliverable reporting.

• Lead the drafting and review of technical documentation, such as Study Protocols, Model Plans, and HEOR reports.

• Collaborate with specialists across statistics, epidemiology, data science, and medical domains to deliver high-quality research and analytical outputs.

• Provide consulting advice and actionable recommendations to clients regarding value assessment, HTA compliance, and Market Access strategies.

• Drive business development and generate new project opportunities through strong client relationship management.

• Mentor, coach, and provide leadership to junior team members.

Expected Role

As a subject matter expert in Health Economics and HTA, this leadership position supports client value demonstration and market access strategies while managing project operations, client development, and team growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HTA, Health Economics, and Market Access.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects across varying scales and complexity.

• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams of specialized domain experts.

• Advanced writing, communication, and client-influencing skills (e.g., strong track record in high-level presentations, meeting facilitation, workshop leadership, and business/technical report drafting).

• Strong analytical, analytical-explanation, and problem-solving skills backed by demonstrated results.

• Solid understanding of core industry issues and current trends within life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

• Extensive experience in healthcare consulting or the life sciences industry, or comparable academic achievement and research output.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of consulting frameworks, tools, and technical methodologies.

• Proficiency in programming languages: R, SAS.
