As a  Health Economics Lead/Managing Consultant, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on all Health Economics (HE) matters.
  • Drive and shape the HE portfolio through our project and business management activities to ensure alignment with the organisation’s objectives.
  • Lead a range of client and partner engagement activities to identify their needs, then design solutions that meet those needs in a value-centric way.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance and leadership to the project teams to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
  • Lead business development activities (complex bids and proposals) to build and nurture relationships with current and potential clients to drive revenue growth. 
  • Actively participate in the wider Senior Management Team (SMT), shaping the strategic direction of the organisation, engaging in high-level decision-making.
  • Lead the development and refinement of internal processes and systems to establish and maintain best practices across the consulting team.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, developing a high-performing team with strong professional ethics and high quality standards. 

Requirements

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Experienced HE leads: having led projects and teams within a consultancy or commercial environment.
  • Scientifically inclined: strong understanding of the science behind the areas of focus for various pharma and/or MedTech clients.
  • Strategic thinkers: capable of constructively challenging clients at a peer-to-peer level, generating novel strategic viewpoints.
  • Commercial mindset: proven track record of blending strategic and scientific thinking with a commercial approach; always assessing whether the chosen course of action is the right thing for the business and the clients. 
  • Excellent communicators: proven ability to present at senior stakeholder level across the industry; ability to influence, negotiate and overcome objections from senior stakeholders.
  • High standards: experience with setting high standards in terms of quality, originality of the work, strategic thinking and level of detail across various projects.
  • Inspiring leaders: dedicated to empowering and supporting their teams, fostering growth, and cultivating a collaborative environment.
  • Growth mindset: demonstrated ability to develop teams and peers, providing direction and tailored feedback; comfortable with challenging the team in a constructive and supportive way.

Location: Hybrid working – 2 days a week from Tileyard, near Kings Cross, London

Salary: £80,000+
