As a Health EconomicsGerente, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working to bring life-changing therapies to patients. In this role, you will focus on negotiating reimbursement and pricing outcomes, leading health technology assessments, and preparing submissions, all while working closely with key stakeholders. Please note, this position does not involve people leadership, allowing you to concentrate on driving impactful strategies and fostering collaborative relationships. This role is based in Sydney and reports to the Associate Director Value and Access.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop reimbursement strategies for Amgen products in Australia and New Zealand
- Work with internal and external teams to prepare Health Technology Assessment submissions, pricing, and reimbursement applications
- Track reimbursement progress, negotiate with agencies, and ensure timely outcomes
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to align strategies and ensure access for patients
- Contribute to the Long Range Strategy and budget planning processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

- Degree in Health Economics, Life Sciences, or related fields and 4+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated experience in Health Economics roles preferred
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Computer literacy with MS Suite of products
- Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare system, reimbursement, and access environment.
- Strong project management skills including planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Residency, and work rights in Australia required
