Director, In-line Brands – Global Health Economics, Value, & Outcomes

As the Director, In-line Brands – Global health Economics, Value, and Outcomes, you will serve as the principal strategic and technical lead for UZEDY in the Neuroscience TA, primarily focused on the US market. You will develop and implement comprehensive evidence generation plans, including clinical, economic and humanistic evidence to meet the needs of different external stakeholders (Payers, HCPs, Patients/Caregivers, etc.). You will work closely with the Global TA counterpart, formulate and update the recommended function strategies including the update of the value proposition and the adaptation and training of relevant colleagues on RWE, indirect comparisons, economic models and value dossiers.

⦁    The individual will develop the evidence generation plan and provide HEOR input to the US brand planning and budgeting processes.
⦁    Lead US evidence generation needs in collaboration with other Medical team colleagues.
⦁    Work closely with Medical, Payer, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure that evidence generation is aligned with brand strategic objectives.
⦁    Work with external partners (CROs, External Experts, etc) to complete HEOR studies.
⦁    Provide HEOR subject area expertise to development of medical/clinical plans and studies.
⦁    Work with internal teams to ensure that the HEOR deliverables are incorporated in field communication materials.
⦁    Train field teams HEOR relevant deliverables, in collaboration with Medical Affairs/ Payer team(s) to appropriately prepare for asset launch(es).
⦁    Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix team environment and effectively communicate relevant function strategies and evidence studies and outputs.
⦁    Represent Teva before appropriate scientific, medical, regulatory, payer, patient and other meetings, when appropriate.
⦁    Keep abreast of the trends of therapeutic area, HEOR, Pricing, Reimbursement, and Market Access, and proactively address strategy changes in collaboration with global and regional teams in anticipation of these trends.
⦁    Build a network of clinical, HEOR and payer experts, including academics, policy makers, HTA representatives, reimbursement influencers and other decision-makers globally to increase the robustness of scientific studies in support of market access strategies.

Your experience and qualifications

⦁    PhD in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Market Access, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience OR a Master’s degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Market Access, or related field, and at least 10 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience. A pharmacy/clinical/scientific background is preferred.
⦁    A track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications demonstrating expertise in HEOR
⦁    Comprehensive knowledge of own core discipline and good working knowledge of health care systems and health technology assessment guidelines and processes in relevant countries.
⦁    Ability to understand disease space and appropriately plan and deliver function strategy and studies for specific compounds.  Serves as source of expertise/advice for cross-functional team members
