- Mission: Lead the development of national Health Economics and Market Access strategies to secure optimal reimbursement and coverage in Spain.
This is a new position focusing on the Spanish market within a large and successful Medical Device company. I have recruited for this company several times and have received excellent feedback about the working environment, leadership and product portfolio.
The Health Economics and Value Manager in Spain will be responsible for leading the development of effective Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement evidence and strategies to enable optimal Market Access and Pricing in the country.
You will work within a collaborative international team and be the expert in Coding, Coverage, Reimbursement and Policy expert for Spain. Day to day activities will include:
- Developing value propositions
- Contributing to health economic models and evidence generation
- Managing a network of KOL, payer, HTA authority and government contacts as well managing relationships with vendors / agencies and contractors as required.
- Training for sales and marketing teams in Spain about demonstrating economic value to customers
Experience within the Medical Device or Diagnostics sectors is essential and candidates with only pharmaceutical / biotech experience will not be considered at this time. The successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of the Spanish healthcare market and proven experience of working in a Market Access / Reimbursement / HEOR position in the country. In addition, a scientific / health policy / health economics postgraduate degree would be advantageous.
