As a Real-World Evidence Manager, your main objective is to initiate /support/promote and facilitate Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies in Israel, ultimately supporting market access, medical and commercial success for J&J products. You will play a crucial role in leading a cross-functional team consisting of commercial, medical, and innovation professionals. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships and collaborations with relevant institutions such as Sick-funds, hospitals, and the Ministry of Health (MoH). Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of real-world studies in collaboration with HEMAR (Health Economics, Market Access, and Reimbursement) and other relevant J&J corporate functions. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster access innovation and support the success of J&J products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the value and importance of Real-World Evidence studies in Israel.
- Lead a cross-functional team comprising commercial, medical, and innovation professionals.
- Lead all operational aspects of studies in collaboration with the medical function to ensure smooth execution.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with relevant institutions including Sick-funds, hospitals, and the Ministry of Health.
- Promote and advocate for studies aimed at expanding market access for J&J products and enhancing their value.
- Strengthen relationship with HEMAR and other relevant J&J corporate functions to facilitate real-world studies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive access innovation initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for collaborations and partnerships that support real-world evidence generation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to real-world studies.
- Analyze and interpret real-world data to generate insights that can inform market access strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Real-World Evidence research and market access approaches.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on Real-World Evidence projects and their impact on market access.
- Collaborate with the EMEA / GLOBAL teams to coordinate RWE studies with local research institutes; serve as the point of contact for all aspects of research management.
- Promote Israel as a research hub with significant value to EMEA, to attract RWE research projects to the country.
- Liaise with the Legal department and manage the contractual process of RWE projects.
QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health). Advanced degree (MA or PHD) is preferable.
- Proven experience in Real World Evidence research, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of Real-World Evidence research principles and strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Israeli healthcare system, regulatory requirements, and Sick-funds & Hospitals operations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret real-world data.
- Project management skills to successfully plan, execute, and deliver real-world studies.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and health policy is an advantage.
