Senior HTA Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager of HTA Engagement to join our team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with external HTA experts, developing strategies to influence HTA policies, and ensuring IPSEN’s products are favorably positioned in the market.

  • HTA Liaison: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external HTA related experts, public agencies, and industry associations to advocate for IPSEN’s interests and gather insights on HTA policies and processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify key HTA stakeholders, develop tailored engagement plans, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on HTA positions and ensure consistent messaging.
  • HTA Policy Insights: Regularly monitor, analyze, and interpret HTA policy and regulatory dynamics in the healthcare sector, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the business and management team in a timely manner. Develop and communicate IPSEN’s HTA positions on key issues to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. Furthermore, actively and efficiently develop and execute advocacy strategies to influence HTA decisions that support IPSEN’s business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal business leads and cross-functional teams to solve problems and identify practical solutions to HTA needs and changes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local laws, regulations, and IPSEN’s ethical standards.
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in HTA, health economics, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Having good connection with top HTA experts is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • A strong understanding of the Chinese healthcare policy and regulatory environment, particularly in HTA.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to analyze complex HTA issues and develop strategic responses.
    • A proven track record of successful advocacy and HTA engagement.
    • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
