As the Market Access and HEOR Manager(/Leader tbd) in the Health Policy & Patient Access department, you will be accountable for contributing to the Regional Access & Reimbursement strategy and supporting affiliates in its execution with your HEOR, Access  & Reimbursement experience and expert skill sets. You will be participating as an accountable interface function within the global-regional-affiliate Access & Policy community as well as supporting in the development of access and health systems policy capabilities at Roche Diagnostics. 

The Opportunity 

  • Contribute to the development of the Regional Access & Reimbursement strategy in coordinating with major internal stakeholders in Market Access affairs by managing assessments and consolidation of strategic Market Access insights informing strategic decisions through e.g. designing and managing internal as well as external research projects
  • Conducting systematic analysis of the reimbursement potential for our products/solutions in order to inform strategic decision-making in close collaboration with all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Regional integrated evidence plans to ensure translation of the access strategy into evidence generation. This will include, among others, providing expert HEOR perspectives on study designs, partnering with clinical development and medical affairs (CDMA) and other internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to the development / adaptation of payer and health economic value propositions and perform gap analysis in order to inform the development of value stories, health economic models and market access toolkits to inform reimbursement applications in co-creation with the Commercial teams, specialist functions and country organizations through conducting evidence assessments and literature reviews, coordinating and/or (co-)leading health economic modeling activities in collaboration with Global Evidence Leaders and Affiliate counterparts, contribute to and collaborate in real-world data studies 
  • Facilitate experience sharing across Roche’s APAC Access community and act as a coach for affiliates in matters related to their Access planning and execution in collaboration with the Regional Access & Policy Engagement lead

Who you are 

  • You should hold a Degree in Health Economics, Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine or related field with at least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the IVD industry
  • You should have experienced in Health Economic Modeling and proficient in MS Office (Excel) and at least one statistical program (e.g. R, SPSS, Stata) with previous experience in using evidence to support HTA and market access decision- making, health technology assessment, clinical research and development methods, and international payer evidence requirements.
  • You should be highly motivated, self-organized, self-driven and a strong team player
