To Make the difference in following up and accelerating eligible Rare disease patients’ access to AZ innovative therapy existing or coming, through Market Access Strategy/Tactics in collaboration with internal and external partner while demonstrating high leadership, innovation and accountability.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Deep understanding for Health care system including decision making process, influencers, funding map and partners.
- Proactively developing and crafting relationship with customers at multiple levels and in multiple functional areas within the customer’s organization, respective Governmental and Heath Care/ Key Account bodies, hospitals, and patients’ associations, decision makers in health care needed for building strategy and execution of MA activities.
- Playing an integral role, in agreement with the internal teams, to develop the product registration/reimbursement and economic value strategy.
- Supports the Brand Strategy and identifies new opportunities which will drive business.
- Allocate resources per business / account plans.
- Regular review of performance and progress of implementation of plans against agreed KPIs.
- Maintains the customer database up to date to ensure full understanding of customer needs to be able to timely fulfil them.
- Maintains excellent on-going knowledge of disease areas, product and competitors. And the latest products information and clinical data provided by the company.
- Conducts ongoing market analysis including Market, Competitive, and Business Intelligence.
- Understands customers and market insights to ensure achievement of short-term and long-term busi ness objectives.
- Ensure availability, reimbursement and access of the AZ’s products on all levels.
Minimum Criteria:
- five years’ experience in Pharma Commercial / Science background.
- 2-3 years of experience as Market Access
- Rare Disease experience is a plus
- Strong business acumen, from strategy, planning to implementation.
- Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the outstanding needs of different audiences.
- Strong leadership skills specifically emotional intelligence, public relation, and negotiation skills
- Strong presence, charisma and professional behaviour/attitude
- Strong scientific background (pharmacist or MD is a plus
- Experience in OBU and BBU is a plus
- Health Technology Assessment experience is a plus
- Proficiency in English
