HEOR Manager

Shanghai, China.

Responsible for pro-actively developing effective Health Economic & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy with evidence generation plan for inline and pipeline products, initiating and executing HEOR studies for assigned therapeutic areas in accordance with the priorities and requirements and in strict adherence to the company’s strategy guidelines and policy restrictions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strong evidence support on national/local reimbursement, pricing and other access objectives
  • Develop effective HEOR strategy for key products based on deep understanding of evidence needs and gaps, with collaboration of global market access and local cross-functional colleagues
  • Design and implement solid local health economics and outcomes studies to support product strategy
  • Responsible for quality, timeline and budget control in execution of HEOR projects
  • Timely publish research results, as well as develop and desiminate messages with internal/external stakeholders
  • Provide necessary HEOR access dossiers, as well as training internally and externally
  • Participate in global/regional market access projects and represent China HEOR
  • Strong engagement and partnership with KOL at HE and HTA area in China

About You:

Education:

  • Health economics, Public health, or Bio-statistics background
  • Minimum of master degree in HEOR, public health or economics, or statistics. PhD in such areas is preferred

Experience & knowledge & Competencies:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in HEOR area
  • Proficient on HEOR related methods and good knowledge on pharmaceutical market and health care systems
  • Ability to explore appropriate HEOR and medical knowledge to address challenges
  • Strong ownership, self-motivated with can-do attitude
  • Good teamwork spirit & collaborative approach including how to be successful in a matrix environment
  • Ability to maintain ethical, professional and positive attitude and behavior
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, both in Chinese and English
  • Well developed networking ability, KoL engagement experience as a plus
