About the role:
The Access Lead is responsible for ensuring optimal conditions for patient access to both new and existing UCB assets. This role involves conducting economic evaluations, preparing reimbursement submissions, and engaging with key stakeholders to secure favorable patient access positions.
Additionally, the Access Lead will develop market access strategies, navigate legislative changes, and proactively identify and address business growth opportunities and threats within the Swedish access environment.
Who you will work with:
The Access Lead must be able to work closely with cross-functional teams at the national, Nordic, and European levels.
What will you do:
- Market Access Strategies: Develop and implement effective market access strategies to ensure the availability and affordability of UCB products.
- Health Economic Evaluations: Conduct health economic evaluations to support pricing and reimbursement decisions.
- Reimbursement Submissions: Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal UCB pricing strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate optimal patient access for the UCB portfolio.
- Legislative Monitoring: Monitor and interpret legislative changes, advising on necessary actions to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.
- Business Growth: Identify and proactively act on business growth opportunities and potential threats within the Swedish and Nordic access environment
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
- Education: A Bachelor`s Degree in health economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field
- Industry Experience :Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with significant experience in health economics, pricing, and reimbursement processes.
- Reimbursement Expertise:Proven track record of preparing and submitting successful reimbursement dossiers to health authorities.
- Economic Evaluations:Experience in conducting cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, and other health economic evaluations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data and health economic models, enabling informed decision-making.
- Languages: Fluent in the local language and English
