Market Access Manager

Dublin, Ireland.

The purpose of the role is to support and devise the local market access strategy and ensure timely execution of the market access deliverables for the assigned products/indications. The role will report to the Head of Market Access and Government Affairs. The focus will be mainly on Oncology pipeline products.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and execute market access strategies for pipeline, launch and existing products.
  • Lead the full reimbursement process for new products/indications with key external stakeholders (NCPE, CPU, NCCP) including development of rapid review, HTA and negotiation strategy and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the cross functional team to develop high quality reimbursement dossiers.
  • Develop pricing strategies in accordance with Global pricing guidelines and set optimal list and net prices to ensure that planned reimbursement and market access can be achieved.
  • Monitor and keep up to date with new developments in HEOR/HTA methodology and Irish healthcare policy that could impact Daiichi Sankyo’s products.
  • Attend local conferences to understand the environment and current trends, interact with relevant stakeholders.

Education: University degree in (Health) Economics, Health Sciences, Pharma or related discipline.

Professional experience:

  • A minimum of two years professional experience in market access or health economics in the pharmaceutical industry or related organisation.
  • Technical knowledge and training in HEOR methods along with a comprehensive understanding of the Irish market access environment.
  • Experience in managing and driving reimbursement applications with the HSE and engagement with relevant stakeholders (NCPE, CPU, NCCP & MMP).
  • Technical capability in cost effectiveness modelling and budget impact modelling including basic model adaptation.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations would be an advantage.

Language: Fluent in English , both oral and written communications
