Market Access Manager

As our market Access Manager, you are responsible for developing the market access/reimbursement strategies for new and existing medicines, collaborating with both the Belgian team and international colleagues.

YOUR TASKS  AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop high-quality reimbursement dossiers and submit them for reimbursement to the government, accompanied by substantive arguments. 
  • Analyze local market access insights and translate them into national/regional strategies and tools.
  • Identify key stakeholders in-market and will establish relationships and collaborations with key stakeholders in order to facilitate optimal market access for new Bayer Pharmaceuticals products as well as to keep market access for existing products.
  • Work in close interaction with Marketing, Medical and other stakeholders across the organization, both on local and global level.
  • Proactively advise the business colleagues on developments in the healthcare landscape and support the product strategies with value propositions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master degree in Science (preferably MD or Pharmacist) with basis of Market Access, Regulatory and /or Health Economics
  • At least 3 years of experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector, preferably in the market access/ health economic area with a deep understanding of the Belgian environment and healthcare structure, working in/motivating cross functional teams in a positive, achievement oriented work environment
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with external customers 
  • Good negotiation and network skills
