Market Access Lead

Tokyo, Japan.

Perform the following functions on behalf of the Company and in doing so represent the Company in compliance with the Code of Conduct and Business Principles and the employment agreement.

  • Funding and Reimbursement System: (30%)
    • Lead cross functional team to develop pricing & reimbursement strategy and application; to ensure optimal reimbursement objective.
    • Develop various pricing scenario considering product labeling, patient flow, treatment guideline, current competition status, national insurance policy and product life cycle.
    • Closely collaborate with business team to build different business case simulations to gain internal alignment on pricing and reimbursement scope.
  • Evidence Based Payor Value Proposition: (30%)
    • Working with local commercial team, translate commercial insights to payor value propositions, develop and validate the local value message.
    • Lead payor insights and engagement projects, identify evidence requirements and inform evidence generation strategy to support local value story.
    • Lead global value tool localization and value validation initiatives in collaboration with Health Outcomes and Health Economics team.
    • Undertake lead of projects or be part of projects which help continuously improve our value proposition and evidence-based medicine approach to commercial programmes.
  • Stakeholder relations and environment shaping: (30%)
    • Establish and maintain strong professional network with local Government authorities, Healthcare providers, Health Economic organizations and other relevant decision-making key stakeholders to anticipate and influence legislative pricing and reimbursement trends.
    • Influence procedure reimbursement appraisal though Academic Association Engagement: HEOR studies, Value Comm, Evidence Dissemination, Guideline Shaping, etc.
  • Other: (10%)
    • Drive Organizational Market Access acumen: Global Asset Localization, Sales Training, Market Access Academy
    • Liaise with local commercial and cross-function teams, Industry Associations, Government Bodies and others, to ensure new business opportunities are identified and followed through.
    • Adhere to business principles and compliance requirements with all decisions made.
    • Undertake all required training in relation to the S&N Code of Conduct and external requirements and ensure that each direct report (if applicable) understand the principles and undertakes the required training.
    • Ensure personal compliance of the Company’s Equal Employment Opportunity responsibilities.
    • Comply with the Company’s Occupational Health & Safety system and maintains a safe and secure working environment.
    • Any other responsibilities as required.
