This is a new position within the UK & Ireland business unit of a medium sized global pharma company which has a diverse portfolio of in-market products and a strong pipeline in both early and late stage development.
The incoming Head of Health Economics & Market Access will be responsible for developing and leading HTA submissions, market access and pricing strategies for the company’s products within the UK and Ireland, working closely with global colleagues. This is also a managerial role with responsibility for managing a small team of 2 Market Access Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health Economics or Market Access manager to step up into a leadership role within an established and stable company which has a strong pipeline. Line management experience is not essential but would be advantageous and most important is a detailed understanding of UK HTA processes / requirements, proven market access strategy skills, some health economics training and/or experience and pricing / stakeholder engagement experience.
Experience of working within a Pharmaceutical or Biotech company is preferred, however, candidates with strong UK / Ireland market knowledge and proven leadership experience from the consulting sector are also welcomed to apply.
This position is available from the beginning of 2025 and the company is eager to begin interviews ASAP. Applicants must be willing to spend 3 days per week in the company’s London office and also be able to work in the UK without restriction.
