Associate Value Consultant

Bollington / Home-based, UK.

Based in our HQ office in Bollington, Cheshire, UK or remotely in the UK.  Must have ability and willingness to travel as required to deliver to clients.

Purpose of the role: Leading assigned projects and undertaking research and analysis to inform the development of value propositions and communications to optimise pricing, reimbursement and market access.

Your key activities will include:

  • Managing and motivating project team members.
  • Ensuring appropriate contracts are in place with the client, other Adelphi Values offices and any subcontractors.
  • Briefing project team members on their tasks and monitoring their work.
  • Monitoring the work of project team members and ensuring delivery is according to the project plan.
  • Reviewing all client deliverables.
  • Acting as primary contact with the client.
  • Ensuring any change in scope is agreed with the client and clear documentation of the change is shared with the client.
  • Ensuring the project stays within budget and timelines.
  • Updating the contribution site with actual and forecast contribution delivery. 

You will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Understanding of the perspectives and evidence needs of many of the stakeholders involved in healthcare decision-making. 
  • Ability to manage members of a project team, providing feedback on tasks completed, ensuring they deliver work of appropriate quality to agreed timelines, and motivating them to feel a sense of pride in the project.
  • Business leadership skills: awareness of the perspective of the management team, and demonstration of appropriate business behaviour.
  • Ability to explain project tasks and to gain the clients’ confidence.
  • Ability to produce written documents of high quality in terms of scientific content, style, and grammar, which are focused to meet the needs of the target audience and our clients; such documents should be concise where appropriate and require very little revision to be client- ready.
  • Ability to create impactful communication tools and materials such as slide decks.
  • Capability in building complex structured search strategies and exploring the results of such searches effectively and efficiently.
  • Highly proficient in digital information retrieval, management and presentation.

Your background will include:

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, such as life sciences, health economics or public health – Essential
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject – Desirable
  • Excellent data analysis skills – Essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Essential
  • Demonstrated proficiency in healthcare value demonstration – Essential
  • Extensive experience in relevant research techniques, including literature reviews – Essential
  • Understanding of health economics and healthcare policy – Essential
