Senior Analyst / SAS Programmer – RWE

As part of the OPEN Health Real World Evidence team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • Provide design input and execute real-world studies using a variety of data sources
  • Develop clear and concise study protocols, analysis plans, and reports
  • Conduct data analysis, statistical model development, and programming
  • Data analytic proficiency using SAS (preferred), R, or similar programming language
  • Identify and develop methodologies and strategies in partnership with project teams
  • Assist in client interactions and outreach to ensure exceptional client satisfaction
  • Adhere to project budgets and timelines
  • Master’s degree in health services research, pharmaceutical and health outcomes, public health, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, or a related field. PhD, PharmD also desirable.
  • Intellectual curiosity and independence to include the ability to self-start and self-teach
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities and ensure that promises are kept and expectations are exceeded
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to forge and manage significant relationships within Pharmerit and with external stakeholders
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to question the status quo
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to include the ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materials.
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on strong Excel proficiency

What you’ll bring:

  • Preferred – experience in HEOR with a consulting company preferred but not essential
  • Masters Degree, PharmD, or PhD in relevant Science, Public Health or Pharmacy/Medical field highly preferred
  • SAS experience
  • Database management and analytical and statistical skills
  • Knowledge of ethical and regulatory requirements for studies
  • Ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materials
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally and with clients
  • Proactive, responsive and able to manage shifting priorities
