About the Role: Responsible for the execution and maintenance of product\/disease specific projects to establish prevalence or burden of disease\/symptoms or health outcomes from treatment. Works closely with the Global Clinical Development, Medical Affairs teams and Brand teams to achieve departmental and corporate strategic objectives. Contributes to the HEOR strategy development.<\/p>\n

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):<\/p>\n

\u2022 Designs, develops and implements projects to assist in the creation of disease or product specific evidence to inform commercial strategy, value assessment and market access
\n\u2022 Work closely with the development or brand team lead to be responsible for HEOR content
\n\u2022 Collaborates with internal business partners to meet the evidence needs of external consumers
\n\u2022 Oversee and manage vendors
\n\u2022 Assist in meeting Departmental goals
\n\u2022 Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Oversees development and implementation of tactical initiatives through subordinate employees
\n\u2022 Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
\n\u2022 Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
\n\u2022 Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
\n\u2022 Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

\u2022 MPH, MS in Health Outcomes or Health Economics or related degree AND 6+ years of Pharmaceutical industry experience in a HEOR role with direct research experience preferred; completion of an HEOR 2-year fellowship with a research focus desired OR
\n\u2022 PhD in HE or HO or related field or PharmD AND 4+ years of similar experience noted above OR
\n\u2022 Previous managerial\/functional management experience also required
\n\u2022 Requires broad understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the team\u2019s work and familiarity with the underlying concepts in other disciplines within the function
\n\u2022 Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the function and understands contribution to Neurocrine’s achievement of business objectives
\n\u2022 Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts\/teams and other stakeholders
\n\u2022 Has reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertise
\n\u2022 Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
\n\u2022 Strong leadership skills and abilities, manages internal and\/or external teams
\n\u2022 Excellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
\n\u2022 Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments\/divisions.
\n\u2022 Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects\/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
\n\u2022 Excellent project management skills
\n\u2022 Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential
\n\u2022 Strong data analytic skills. Have used large commercial claims and publicly accessible data sets as the foundation of research
\n\u2022 Strong written communication skills including publication\/medical writing experience is required
\n\u2022 Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts\/teams and other stakeholders
\n\u2022 Experience and knowledge in claims analysis, data set analysis and possible economic modeling is highly preferred
\n\u2022 Ability to analyze and summarize data, think critically, manage projects, influence others, work in a team environment, and synthesize complex clinical and non-clinical statistical and medical information to effectively communicate medical and scientific information are required
\n\u2022 Highly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and SAS or other statistical programming<\/p>\n

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $154,500.00-$211,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties\/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver\/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.<\/p>\n
