We are seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the global HEOR practice, which consists of 25+ dedicated professionals. The role will involve developing and leading a broad variety of health economic modelling projects across a range of therapeutic areas, and throughout the product lifecycle, including early pricing and reimbursement activities, as well as for submission and post-submission activities. This role will have the opportunity to support business development activities including potential project scoping and proposal and pitch development.

Other locations: Home-based, Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop health economics models (cost-effectiveness, budget-impact) and corresponding technical documents
  • Health economic model development from scratch including background research, model conceptualization, inputs collection and implementation
  • Lead and conduct country adaptations and develop HTA submissions
  • Lead and conduct advisory board meetings with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with internal team and external stakeholders to ensure high quality of deliverables
  • Provide strategic scientific insight and solutions to meet client needs
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to project analysts
  • Manage project timelines, costs, invoicing and revenues
  • Manage client communications
  • Participate in business development opportunities such as the development of proposals, marketing materials or conference abstracts

About You

  • (Required) Master’s degree or PhD in health economics or a related quantitative field such as (health) economics, epidemiology, or (bio)statistics.
  • (Required) Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in health economics (within consultancy, academics or the pharmaceutical industry)
  • Experience with developing and adapting health economics models (cost-effectiveness, budget-impact) and/or conducting model adaptations for HTA submissions
  • Understanding of relevant statistical analyses, such as indirect treatment comparison and survival analyses
  • Understanding of real-world-evidence (RWE) data sources
  • Understanding of the HTA submission requirements of major HTA bodies such as the National Institute of Heatlth Care and Excellence (NICE) and the Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA)
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience using programming software (e.g. VBA, R, SAS)
  • Analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to design and consider novel and creative solutions to overcome challenges
  • Ability to work in a team and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in the English language
