Intern: Health Economics & Reimbursement

Home-based / Lisboa, Portugal.

This role involves monitoring the Portuguese healthcare system and contributing to Health Outcomes Research and Pharmacoeconomics studies. By providing valuable insights and data, it will support Operating Units in overcoming market access challenges and enhancing patient access to our therapies.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

– Monitor and stay updated on the Portuguese healthcare system, including policies, regulations, and market trends.

– Contribute to Health Outcomes Research and Pharmacoeconomics studies, including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact assessments, and cost comparisons

– Provide support to various Operational Units across the company, ensuring alignment with health economics and market access objectives.

Internship details:

– start date: 1st November and onwards

– duration: 12 months

– work model: if you are based in Lisbonhybrid, if you are based in other cities-remote

– working time: 40 h/week with flexibility -exams and holiday period

Required knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree (2023/2024) or finishing master’s degree in healthcare sciences / economics

– Native in Portuguese and fluent in English

– Based in Portugal

– Good knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Would be a plus

– Currently pursuing or having completed a master’s degree in health economics, pharmacoeconomic, market access, public health.

– Proactivity and initiative

– Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

– Eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges.
