You are essential for managing the successful introduction and positioning of CSL Vifor products in Poland. The goal is to ensure that the CSL Vifor product portfolio is accessible in the market by overcoming reimbursement barriers and identifying additional growth opportunities in the access environment. As the Market Access Manager Poland, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders involved in approving new medicines and the healthcare reimbursement and listing processes in the dedicated region. You will also be the liaison for all regional and global market access matters, as well as for local commercial and medical teams.
The Role:
- Serve as the interface between the company and Payer stakeholders to establish a favorable business environment, drive the company’s Access footprint, and maximize patient access in Poland.
- Responsible for driving Access strategies and initiatives in Poland and supporting the Commercial Lead Nephrology Poland and the Commercial Lead Nephrology CEE CSL Vifor.
- Be in active contact with other Market Access CEE Vifor and Vifor Regional and Global Market Access roles.
- Together with Market Access functions in the respective CSL Behring affiliates work hand-in-hand to present the CSL brand in all discussions with key Healthcare stakeholders and authorities.
- Responsible for developing and articulating Payer positions and programs.
- Align innovative and value-added CSL Vifor solutions across key therapy areas with the needs of fast-changing health systems and with a sound business approach.
- Support the Commercial objectives of Vifor Poland by developing and executing CSL Vifor’s Access strategies and projects.
- Develop a strong network with local health authorities, professional associations, and other influencers Poland.
- Support the Medical Affairs team with initiatives involving patient and clinical organizations.
- Partner with the relevant stakeholders in managing relations and planning and executing patient access programs across relevant therapy areas, including nephrology and rare diseases.
- Influence regional and national Access strategies to achieve positive business outcomes.
- Develop/implement reimbursement plans in Poland’s private and public sectors.
- Oversee the development of health economic data and subsequent publication and utilization.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree required in a business or life science-related discipline, additional education in Political Science, Health Economics, Public Policy/Administration preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry in the areas of Market Access.
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare dynamics.
- Deep understanding of government policies and programs in the Czech Republic & Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.
- Good commercial background, health economics knowledge, and experience in aligning market access strategies with government policies and programs.
- Experience in public affairs.
- Language requirement: A high level of Polish and high-level English skills are mandatory.
- Experience in business planning and/or market analysis and production of Value Propositions based on Patient Access principles and knowledge and experience with HEOR modeling and analysis.
- Experience in performing or guiding economic studies, including literature reviews.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the CEE Commercial Lead Nephrology.
