Senior Market Access Manager

As a Senior Market Access Manager, your role is to maximise public access to Novo Nordisk medicines in line with the Oceania strategy, explore private market access, pricing initiatives and alternative access pathways. It involves working collaboratively across the business as a valued and credible reimbursement expert to maximise opportunities to commercialise Novo Nordisk medicines. It includes monitoring, adoption and challenging external reimbursement policy initiatives and supporting departmental initiatives as directed by the manager.

  • Identify and evaluate fit-for-market opportunities for Australia and New Zealand, from the Novo Nordisk portfolio of products and indications to support the 5-year business strategy.
  • Develop strategy, identify gaps for future reimbursement applications and put plans in place to close data, clinical, economic or policy gaps for in scope products.
  • Manage the preparation of high-quality reimbursement submissions, responses and reviews to National and sub-national payers.
  • Effectively collaborate with and manage internal stakeholder relationships and communication across local and above country teams.
  • Ensuring operations within the Novo Nordisk business ethics and compliance framework, and business requirements for quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Health Economics is desired, with additional post-graduate qualifications in fields like public health or public policy.
  • With 6+ years of experience in a Market Access role within the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in PBS pricing and policy.
  • Strong project management, medical/technical writing skills, and excellent communication with the ability to influence.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
