Pricing & Market Access Associate

Key Function of the Role:-

The purpose of the role is to support commercialization of pharmaceuticals by aligning evidence generation and economic evaluation strategies with pricing, reimbursement, and market-access solutions.

Essential Requirements of the Role:-

Knowledge and Experience:

• Training and/or experience in health economics and/or outcomes would be an advantage.


• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills – especially in the relaying of technical information.

• A high degree of written accuracy and attention to detail.

• Fluent English, another European language will be an asset.

• High analytical ability.

• Client focused approach to work

• Demonstrates active listening skills.

• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

• Self-motivation, enthusiasm, ambition and flexibility.

• Keen interest in medical research, provision of healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.

• Self starter, with the ability to takes responsibility for assigned work with moderate direction/support.

• Demonstrates a good working ethos and positive attitude towards work. Is tactful and respectful regarding interactions with the project team, clients, and peers.

• Has a positive attitude towards work and is receptive to development feedback and applies feedback to all projects.

• Engages in two way dialogue and shares information with others on projects and initiatives. Participates in training initiatives under the guidance of their Development Manager.

• Strong computing skills (MS Office).


• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific Discipline, Advanced Degree Preferred

Key Deliverables of the Role:-

Project Execution

• Provide high quality, timely, scientific/strategic solutions to meet client needs. • Conduct and analyse primary and secondary research, which will shape the development of strategic recommendations.

• Systematically search for and synthesise disparate qualitative and quantitative evidence, and interpret and summarise meaningfully.

• Writing and development of Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions.

• Able to gather and assess complicated data sets and qualitative blocks of research. Effectively documents the details of collected information.

• Demonstrates an understanding of information resources and applies them effectively to own work stream. Strives to produce project outputs with minimal errors across all deliverables.

• Meets the project objectives, with the specified timescales.

• Draws insights from own work and begins to understand the client’s objectives.

• Creates client ready deliverables with appropriate supervision. Materials communicate key insights and messaging.

Parexel related responsibilities

• Professional conduct at all working levels within a client organization and within Parexel.

• Complete basic job-related responsibilities, including timesheets, expense reports, maintenance of CVs, project deliverable archiving, participation in internal initiatives/projects or as a mentor as requested by management.

• Time management of assigned work for upcoming week and beyond. Proactively raise to PMs and resourcing team when work assigned is unmanageable. Manages own deadlines and project activities with all stakeholders.

• Good corporate citizenship i.e. 100% compliance to all corporate processes (e.g. timesheet and LMS training).
