This is a new, leadership position within the Modelling team of an established Market Access & Health Economics consultancy company which works with a wide range of pharma, biotech, device & diagnostics companies around the world.
The Lead Health Economist will take on responsibility for leading various modelling projects (Excel & R), managing project teams and mentoring less experienced team members as a key part of a collaborative and supportive team culture. There is a high level of flexibility within the company and this can be an office, hybrid or remote position depending on the skills and experience of the incoming person. Formal management experience is not essential but candidates should be able to demonstrate good project leadership skills and be eager to develop their career towards a management position.
Previous experience of Health Economics modelling is required for this position and this may come from another consulting role, an academic position or pharma / MedTech industry work. In addition, applicants must have formal training in Health Economics, Mathematics or Statistics to at least MSc level and some project or people leadership experience is highly preferable.
