Brand new position within a globally recognised healthcare consulting firm which has established teams in Europe and the USA delivering high quality and innovative HEOR & Market Access projects for pharma and biotech clients in a multitude of disease areas.
The new Practice Area Lead will collaborate with the Global Market Access and Health Economics teams to design and deliver strategies and tactics to optimise existing client relationships and expand the company’s international reach. However, there will NOT be a revenue target assigned to the position and this is not intended to be a direct sales job.
Day to day responsibilities will include: engaging with existing clients to understand their long term needs and to identify opportunities to expand the company’s offering, development of mutually beneficial proposals, selection and monitoring of relevant business development metrics and driving global business development efforts in collaboration with the project teams.
A postgraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred and applicants must have demonstrable experience within the pharma, biotech, medtech or lifescience consulting industries and have a good level of knowledge of international Market Access or Health Economics / HEOR strategy for the UK and EU markets. This is a great position for an experienced and knowledgeable industry manager or a Consultant to take on a strategic, client facing position where you can utilise your industry knowledge and be part of high-level strategic planning.
