Global Associate Director HEOR

This role is part of the Global HEOR Oncology team reporting to the Executive Director HEOR (Oncology).

As the Global Associate Director HEOR Real World Evidence, you will focus on creating and advising on global tactics/strategy for Evidence Generation, encompassing RWE analysis, ensuring that HEOR perspectives and strategies across geographies, are integrated within the core medical plans, integrated global value plans, evidence generation and brand plans.

You will have responsibility for development, management/delivery of core health economic, comparative effectiveness, PRO, epidemiologic data, and RWE. In this role you will work across functions collaborating with the Real World Data Science team, Medical Affairs, Commercial and  other key stakeholders.

Your knowledge should include a broad understanding of global/regional claims databases, particularly the US, UK or Europe

Key Activities for this role are noted below:

  • Co-lead development of integrated global value plan and co-create integrated global brand plan/integrated Evidence Generation Plan
  • Develop HEOR strategies and tactics that are evidence based, scientifically and
  • technically valid, and medically relevant across geographies and in line with global brand/value plan, which may include strategy development for pre-POC early development compounds
  • Translate evidence gaps into feasible programs
  • Ensure the timely completion of assigned HEOR projects that include appropriate outcome assessments, analysis plans and final reports with expectations for peer-reviewed publications relevant to HEOR evidence generation strategies
  • Provide oversight/strategic and scientific input for HEOR projects, data interpretation, protocol development, regulatory documents, scientific publications, and independent research proposals for assigned products

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Solid experience/understanding of Real World Evidence generation with a preferred background in Epidemiology either from within a Pharma or Consultancy environment
  • An understanding of Electronic Health Records (lab results, treatment plans etc), Disease and product registries and claims data
  • Expertise in leveraging outcomes data in the appropriate clinical context
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making skills with a solid understanding of the interface between clinical practice and outcomes research
  • Fluent in verbal and written business English with strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work at a global level across regions

Education/Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent in Life Sciences, Health Economics or Epidemiology with relevant industry experience

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position that is primarily based in the UK or EU4 major markets
  • The position follows our hybrid working model with a blend of home and minimum 1-day per quarter in the office.  Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates should be located within a commutable distance of the office
