We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Market Access Manager to join a cohesive team of RAMs in Spain. You will ensure that patients benefit from fast and continuous access to our medicines, demonstrating their value to the Health Authorities, as well as identify the needs and priorities of the Health Services in order to achieve optimum use of Astellas Spain medicines.
Location: Field based, covering Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria
Essential Job Responsibilities:
To analyse and understand the current environment of the regulatory framework of the pharmaceutical industry in its area of action in order to promptly detect the development of government measures, at a national or regional level
Developing and maintaining appropriate relationships with key stakeholders (regional pharmacy commissions, those responsible for defining prescription indicators, regional guide review groups, health area directors, primary care pharmacists, pharmacologists, managers, and KOL’s members of regional commissions, …), leading to the detection of barriers to access to the hospital and/or primary care market
To develop and maintain the appropriate relationships with key stakeholders in the role of Government Affairs (members of health committees, parliamentarians, patient associations,), carrying out the necessary strategic actions that can influence political-health measures with a positive impact on patient management
Define the access strategy for all the company’s products in its autonomous communities, implementing the tactical plan defined in the strategic access plans developed from the Market Access Managers’ positions in each therapeutic area
Identify, organize and implement value-added projects and innovative formulas for negotiation in the Autonomous Regions of the assigned area that are developed in the areas of interest to the company, managing them in time and form, in order to achieve and maintain access to our product
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Degree in Health Sciences, Economics, Marketing or related careers
Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and the organization of the Spanish health system (regulations and specific features at the autonomous community level)
