Janssen-Cilag SpA, the pharmaceutical division, is looking for a Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) Manager – CAR-T, to be hired in the HEMAR Function, with the goal of optimizing the value of the Company and its portfolio. The candidate will join a diverse team passionate about Healthcare, encouraging collaborative value-based discussions with payers, and effectively communicating the innovativeness of products to patients, National & Regional Health Services and the Community as a whole.

The candidate will be in charge of implementing HEMAR activities & projects for Hematology, in collaboration with the HEMAR Manager responsible for Multiple Myeloma, sought at maintaining optimal patient access conditions and an efficient management of future pipeline opportunities. The position will report to the HEMAR Team Manager. The figure will be located in Cologno Monzese (MI).

The HEMAR Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing inputs to Corporate Functions, through Functional Networks and proactive communication, to make the local MA issues be taken into consideration;
  • Supporting the HTA applications, in order to define the product value pharmacoeconomic perspective and to ensure timely market access as within the target price and with the best conditions;
  • Collecting Real World Data (RWD), Health outcomes and data for budget impact, to develop and populate relevant datasets to be eventually used as inputs for the national market access maintenance;
  • Maximizing value from regional dossiers of Janssen products, to rapidly achieve local market access (PTO/R) and a good positioning (PDTA/ Guidelines);
  • Supporting the cross-functional team for the Brand Value Proposition, enhancing value from clinical data, to guarantee an efficient positioning;
  • Identifying in a timely manner the inputs relevant in the definition of MA strategies and an effective action plans design;
  • Developing initiatives and managing projects that contribute to maximize product value, to seek for early market access opportunities for new indications and maintain those in the market, in compliance with local regulations and internal processes;
  • Participating to cross-functional Teams, to capture business inputs and needs and translate them into MA activities able to successfully address them;
  • Working together with the BRIT (Business Regional Integration Team) Function to spot regional stakeholders and support efficient MA and positioning;
  • Contributing to the buildout of coordinated MA plans for all brands, during the Business Plan process.

Qualifications

Academic & Professional Background:

  • University Degree in Economics, Health Policy or Life Science (a post degree in Health Economics/HTA is preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in Market Access Roles
  • Previous experience in Hematology field would be preferred

Language Knowledge: Proficient in English and Italian

IT Knowledge: Good Office knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point)
