We have an exciting opportunity for a new (Sr.) Market Access HEOR Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and make a difference.

In this role, you will participate in the whole strategy development and its implementation, meaning that this role has a high external and internal visibility.

As Ass. Manager Market Access you will be responsible for achieving and maintaining optimal Market Access conditions for Gilead’s product portfolio.

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Achieve and maintain optimal Market Access conditions for Gilead’s product portfolio
  • Collect, analyse and discuss medical, epidemiological and economic information to support preparation of AMNOG benefit dossiers.
  • Support development of pricing strategies according to German market conditions, consistent with global pricing strategies.
  • Follow health care policy development in all indication areas.
  • Assess, plan and implement health economics and outcome research studies and data collection projects to support Market Access claims.
  • Health economic evaluation and quantification of cost efficiencies with a focus on value-based pricing (CE modelling, efficiency frontier calculation, costing, cost per cure)
  • Establishment and management of a well-founded network of health economic experts 
  • Management of high-impact journal publications
  • Planning, execution and analysis of real world evidence and patient preference studies (incl. statistical analysis)
  • Close interaction with MAx TA Leads, Global HEOR, Medical, Public Affairs

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Good understanding of Market Access processes and policies on national and regional level.
  • Strong analytical and methodical capabilities to analyse and understand scientific data.
  • Good writing and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding across healthcare payers (especially G-BA, KV, sick funds (SHI), private health insurances, others).
  • Ability to comprehend, to summarize, and to communicate issues in management style.
  • Ability to multi-task across a wide variety of strategic and tactical activities in a deadline intensive environment.
  • Ability to develop, to drive and implement projects in cooperation with external parties.
  • Science and/or economic background, experience in supporting AMNOG-processes.
  • 3+ years of related experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals industry or other relevant organizations.
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Experience in scientific publication
