Senior Manager Market Access

Ulm / Home-based, Germany.

As a Senior Manager Market Access you will be responsible for the development and implementation of national access strategies and projects with the aim of optimizing the market conditions of the product portfolio of the BUs served in close cooperation with the Market Access Lead and other functions (including Sales, Marketing, Medical). Part of your daily tasks will be the preparation of new product launches including evaluation of pricing and reimbursement conditions

Additionally you will be taking over the following activities:

• Preparation and coordination of medical-scientific,patient-relevant and health-economic benefit arguments 
• Engage with payers,lead activities throughout the AMNOG/DiGA process, including support for the price negotiations
• Organize and manage events with external stakeholders in collaboration with the regional team (e.g. payer Adboards)
• Support the development and implementation of European pricing strategies 
• Provide input into the development of P&R assumptions and generate insights to support the development and commercial success
• Develop or adapt tools to support the Regional Market Access team and the other commercial teams
• Creation and set up of innovative and impactful projects that support the needs of our external stakeholders and create win-win partnerships. 
• Identify,engage,build,and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders that are needed for the flawless execution of the market access strategies for relevant therapeutic areas
• Plan,manage and monitor all defined projects, building business cases in cross-functional alignment with other departments and European colleagues
• Monitor market access and health policy environment, ability to assess implications and to formulate recommendations to the business

You have
… masters or advanced degree in Health Economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or other relevant field for Market Access
… relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry in similar positions (minimum of 5-7 years), with experience in contracting/price negotiations
… in-depth knowledge of the health care system in Germany
… hands-on experience with AMNOG dossier preferred
… demonstrated ability to implement access strategies 
… ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacity
… fluency in German and English 
… excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
… excellent skills in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
… ability to build strong relationships with colleagues of various background and expertise
… ability to function as a team member and as a leader of project teams
… ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and to deliver on time
… flexibility and ability to work cross-functionally with can do mindset
