Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\u2022
\nSupport the delivery of a wide range of client projects in the pharmaceutical and medical device space in Canada, including: market access projects, retrospective database studies, business strategy, health economic analyses, patient journeys, access metrics, and other varied and exciting engagements.
\n\u2022
\nContribute to study design and methodology development; Develop innovative approaches, frameworks and solutions to client problems.
\n\u2022
\nAssist in the preparation of study protocols and draft reports, and analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative \u2018real-world\u2019 data for deliverables.
\n\u2022
\nPrepare presentations, abstracts and manuscripts relating to projects including for presentation at scientific conferences and submission to scientific journals
\n\u2022
\nConduct primary and secondary research
\n\u2022
\nConduct workshops and moderate discussions and present results to external clients
\n\u2022
\nAssist with overall project management and client management
\n\u2022
\nProduce initial drafts of proposals based on client RFPs and supporting information<\/p>\n

Experience and necessary skills:<\/p>\n

\u2022
\n2 years\u2019 experience undertaking database or health outcomes research, or in the pharmaceutical industry in a relevant area such as business analytics, marketing, market access, epidemiology, pharmacovigilance, outcomes research, health economics, RWE\/RWD or biostatistics
\n\u2022
\nPhD\/Masters\/MBA in relevant health sciences field
\n\u2022
\nHealthcare Consultancy, Pharmaceutical or other Healthcare Industry, Academic or Governmental Research Organization, Health Services Research setting
\n\u2022
\nTechnical skills and Knowledge (Assets)
\n\u2022
\nGood understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement process in Canada is a plus
\n\u2022
\nConducting analyses in databases and\/or registries
\n\u2022
\nGood understanding of outcomes research theory, and practical knowledge of research project implementation
\n\u2022
\nCompetency in using MS tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
\n\u2022
\nExperience in programming Visual Basic for Applications within Excel is a plus
\n\u2022
\nExperience with statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R) is a plus<\/p>\n

You will be required to work directly with IQVIA departments, teams, support functions and stakeholders located across Canada and around the world therefore, a functional knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is necessary to perform the duties of this position.<\/p>\n
