HEMAR Manager (HEMA Manager)

To the Market Access team we are now looking for a Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement Manager (HEMAR Manager). As HEMAR Manager, you will contribute to patient access through the creation of payer value stories for defined therapeutic areas and effectively engagement with payers. In this key role, you will report to the country Market Access Lead and be important in supporting strategic and operational market access work.

Objectives of the Position

You will contribute by taking ownership over all access related issues within your therapeutic areas. You work closely with engaged colleagues within the commercial and medical team to create optimal access conditions for patients to the Janssen portfolio. More specifically the role involves, but is not limited to:

  • Preparation and submission of reimbursement submissions and price negotiations
  • Active engagement and collaboration with payers to create value and access to new treatment
  • Collate insights with regards to funding and evaluation of healthcare funding processes affecting the therapeutic area
  • Educate and support internally in health economics/market access eg. by creating value stories
  • Actively contribute in the therapeutic cross functional team to develop and execute innovative value solutions

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in economics, health economics, pharmacy, statistics or similar fields (required).
  • 2-5 years of work experience in comparable roles (preferred).
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, consultancy or similar experience (preferred).
  • Fluent in Norwegian and high proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Strong networking and presentation skills

We are looking for a candidate with a solid scientific background, but who also displays a strong business mentality. You are a “self-starter” and proactive with a persistence to achieve goals. It is also essential to have the ability to build networks and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. We expect our candidate to have strong presentation and business writing skills that allow for effective expression of ideas and opinions.
