IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is the result of a partnership between “La Paz” University Hospital, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Public Service of the Madrid Autonomous Region and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of La Paz UH, which is the managing body of the Institute. This strategic alliance has made it possible to tackle research projects through joint multidisciplinary teams, making the most of the human and material resources available to these entities for research and promoting research fundraising. Our vision is to be a national and international reference for biomedical translational research of excellence, focus on people’s health.

The Internationalisation Platform at IdiPAZ hosts the present offer, which look for a College graduate (BA, BSc) with experience in biomedical sciences and/or project management.

The Internationalisation Platform’s officers administer the research and healthcare projects funded by international public agencies (mostly the European Commission) granted to the Institute, as well as contributes to the involvement of our staff by providing information on calls, partner search, agnostic review of proposals and budged building. For projects coordinated by the Institute, the Platform host the technical secretariats needed for execution.

Skills/Qualifications

SKILLS:

Advance knowledge of Microsoft (Teams, Excel etc.) and Google (Docs, Calendar, etc.) suites.

Knowldege on Semicrol FundaNet management platform.

MERITS:

Previous experience in technical and financing management in R&I projects.

Knowledge of administrative and legal procedures concerning R&I grants.

Previous experience in R&I and scientific writing

Specific Requirements

The duties involved in the position consist of:

– Management of expenditure incurred under the projects.

– Carrying out the necessary financial justification of the projects.

– Supervision of staff justification.

– Support for project audits.

– Support for the presentation of proposals (revision of the script, search for partners, and construction of budgets).

Benefits

Term: open-ended contract

Professional Category: Titulado superior

Gross annual salary: EUR 27 316.24

Full time of 37.5 hours per week.

Private matters: 6 working days per year.

Vacation: 22 working days per year.

December 24 and 31 are non-business days.

Eligibility criteria

The selection process will consist of two phases and the following scale will be applied, out of a maximum of 10 points:

  • Training and curricular merits: 6 points.
  • Personal interview: 4 points

In the event that two or more candidates match the values and needs of the institution and meet the conditions required for the post, and where there is a tie, the candidate with a certificate attesting to a minimum degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 per cent shall prevail.

Selection process

Once candidates send their application to the IdiPAZ email address, their applications are stored until the deadline for receipt of applications for the offer is up. The HR department of IdiPAZ will make a first selection of applications selecting those who meet the criteria required in the offer. The selection committee, composed of the head of human resources at IdiPAZ, the President of the IdiPAZ Internal Scientific Committee and the Project Officer, will then evaluate the selected application applying the scales described in each call for applications. Once the candidate is selected, the HR department of IdiPAZ to provide the required documentation will contact he/she.
