As Market Access Manager at AbbVie you will be working in a team of experts in the field of market access and in this position you will be responsible for part of the AbbVie portfolio. You will be involved in market access strategy development, health economic analyses, preparation of pricing & reimbursement dossiers and developing compelling and customized value propositions, including economic and clinical arguments and evidence for payers, regulators, and budget-holders. Through close collaboration internally and with government agencies, academics and various external interest groups, you ensure that patients have access to our medicines. Your key responsibilities:
- Develop access, pricing and reimbursement scenarios and strategies
- Oversee the development and submission of reimbursement dossiers and other materials to payers, policymakers, and regulatory bodies
- Customize technical data into simple compelling messages
- Partner effectively with cross-functional brand teams to deliver on brand objectives and to ensure alignment
- Develop compelling value propositions that highlight the clinical and economic value of our medicines for patients and the healthcare system
- Foster a strong relationship with key stakeholders and payers
- Monitor the latest trends and changes in regulations and policies impacting market access
- Drive a market access mindset across the organization

More specifically, we ask the following of you:
- Master’s degree in Life Science, Pharmacy, (Health) Economics or equivalent
- 2+ years relevant working experience in pharmaceutical market access & health economics (e.g. pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, healthcare payer), with a strong track record in dossier preparation and stakeholder engagement
- Deep understanding of the Dutch healthcare system, payer mindset and pricing & reimbursement processes
- Fluent in Dutch and Englisch, both verbal and written
- Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information and Health Economic Outcomes data
- Strong strategic thinking, planning and project management capability. Ability to work to deadlines
- Flexible, commercial savvy and proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and autonomous role
